The Humanistic Outlook Organization considers the main goal of our civilization to be the creation of a real paradise on Earth for all the people of the world. However, this goal can only be achieved by improving the humankind itself.

Obviously, the main cause of all existing global problems (except, of course, natural disasters) is the decrease in the level of humane values ​​in society, the disappearance of people's natural sense of solidarity, the strengthening of instinctive uncontrolled greed and the desire to do evil. All this is closely connected with the emergence and development of a system of distorted perception of reality in human society. We gave this distorted worldview the name "virtual worldview". It is this that leads to the loss of humanity by people and, in fact, throws them back to the way of thinking characteristic of the feudal era.

Based on the fact that only the transition from the era of Homo sapiens to the era of Homo humanus can change the situation, and the implementation of an international program of this magnitude could only be within the power of the United Nations, on December 11, 2018, the HOO sent an official appeal to the UN Secretary General with a request to support implementation of this program.

In January 2019, the following response was received to the request of the HOO: "Any proposal submitted for consideration by the members of the United Nations must first be submitted to the Permanent Representative of one of the member countries for its consideration and only then can it be officially placed on the agenda of the Organization and subsequently put to the vote of the member countries of the UN.<...> We, unfortunately, must also inform you that the United Nations does not provide official support for materials or projects created outside the Organization."

The received answer did not cause anything but regret and bewilderment. A subsequent attempt to submit our proposals for consideration by the UN through the institution of Permanent Representatives was also unsuccessful. As a result, the HOO's program, which would have prevented the occurrence of subsequent global crises, did not receive support and was not implemented.

Meanwhile, the HOO's forecast, unfortunately, gradually began to be justified. Since March 2020, the financial and economic crisis caused by the so-called COVID-19 pandemic has begun in almost all countries of the world. Subsequently, the world faced a new round of cruelty in the form of riots, terrorist attacks and, as recent events have shown, large-scale armed conflicts. We are convinced that if the UN had considered our proposals and in a timely manner, as early as 2019, initiated the implementation of the program for the transition from the era of Homo sapiens to the era of a Homo humanus, the world could have avoided the current upheavals.

The HOO continues to express the hope that the reform programs it has developed, which should lay the foundation for true progress, will resonate with the international community and initiate positive changes, the end result of which will be the transition from the age of Homo sapiens to the era of Homo humanus.
